Welcome to The Villages at Vigneto

Welcome to the Villages at Vigneto (“Vigneto”) special taxing districts website. Vigneto’s special taxing districts include three community facilities districts (“CFDs”) and seven revitalization districts (“RDs”). All ten districts are located within the City of Benson and were formed December 28, 2017 pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes Title 48  Special Taxing Districts (“Title 48”).

Vigneto’s CFDs and RDs have the power and authority given to them by Title 48. CFD and RD board meetings will be conducted periodically to discuss and take action on the powers afforded to them by Title 48. This website will be actively updated to provide notices of meetings and effectively communicate actions taken by the board.

Open Meeting Law Information

All meetings of the Vigneto district’s Board of Directors for the CFDs and RDs are conducted consistent with the City of Benson governance and pursuant to Arizona Open Meeting Laws – ARS Title 38, Chapter 3, Article 3.1 (Public Meetings and Proceedings)

Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02, the Community Facilities Districts #1, #2, #3 and Revitalization Districts #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 (collectively the “Districts”) hereby state all notices of the Districts and any of its committees and subcommittees will be posted at the following locations:

  • United States Post Office, 250 S. Ocotillo Street, Benson, Arizona – open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • The City of Benson Public Library, 300 S. Huachuca Street, Benson, Arizona – open Monday-Thursday, 10am – 6pm, Friday 10am – 5pm and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays – Closed.
  • The City of Benson City Hall – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Such notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meetings of the Districts and will include an agenda or information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meetings.
